
– PM will inaugurate stall of Advantage Assam 2.0
Guwahati, 24 February (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Guwahati on a two-day visit this evening. Prime Minister Modi will participate in the ‘Jhumuir Binandini’ program of Jhumur dance organized to create a world record at Sarusajai Stadium this evening. It is known that this is the second event being organized by the state government after the Bihu dance world record. The Prime Minister will also address during the program.
After the Jhumur dance program, Prime Minister Modi will spend 45 minutes at the venue of Advantage Assam 2.0 to be held with two-day programs in Khanapara. During this, he will also inaugurate the stalls set up there and interact with the people present there.
Meanwhile, Union Minister S Jaishankar reached Roraiya Airport in Jorhat last night. This morning, Jaishankar is leaving for Guwahati after visiting Kaziranga with the jeep safaris. Ambassadors of about 50 countries are also present with him.
It is known that the state government has given its approval to sign MoUs worth a total of ₹1,22,000 crore during Advantage Assam 2.0. This approval is for signing 214 MoUs. MoUs will be signed in four phases. 2,590 MoUs will be signed at the district level.
350 guests attending Advantage Assam will also watch Jhumur dance today. Arrangements have been made to watch the live telecast of Jhumur dance to be held at Sorusajai Stadium in tea garden areas. LED screens are being installed in 800 gardens across the state to watch Jhumur dance.
