New Delhi, March 12 (H.S.): On March 11, 2025, the Ministry of Education launched PM-YUVA 3.0, an Author Mentorship programme aimed at training young authors under 30 to foster reading, writing, and book culture in India. Following the success of the previous editions, this scheme supports the Prime Minister’s vision to engage youth in appreciating India’s culture and heritage. PM-YUVA 3.0 focuses on themes like the contribution of the Indian diaspora, the Indian Knowledge System, and the Makers of Modern India (1950-2025). It is designed to cultivate a creative writing talent pool while empowering young minds as future leaders. The National Book Trust, India will facilitate mentorship and ensure publication of works, promoting cultural exchange and “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.” Young authors will interact with established writers, participate in literary events, and delve into topics that reflect India’s heritage and development, thus weaving a narrative of growth and resilience.
