New Delhi, February 13 (HS): Positive signals are coming from the global market today. The US market closed with mixed trading during the last session. On the other hand, Dow Jones Futures is seen trading with gains today. There was continuous buying in the European market during the last session. Mixed trading is happening in the Asian markets today.
The US market fluctuated continuously during the last session. The S&P 500 index closed at 6,051.97 points with a weakness of 0.27 percent. On the other hand, Nasdaq ended the last session’s trading at 19,648.91 points with a slight increase of 0.03 percent. Dow Jones Futures is currently seen trading at 44,450.23 points with a strength of 0.18 percent today. There was continuous buying in the European markets during the last session. The FTSE index jumped 0.34 percent and closed at 8,807.44 points. Similarly, the CAC index ended the last session’s trading at 8,042.19 points with a gain of 0.17 percent. Apart from this, the DAX index closed at 22,143.03 points with a gain of 110.20 points or 0.50 percent.
Mixed trading is taking place in the Asian markets today. Out of the 9 markets in Asia, the indices of 6 are trading in the green with a gain, while 3 indices are in the red with a decline. The Jakarta Composite Index is trading at 6,591.11 points with a weakness of 0.82 percent. Similarly, the Straits Times Index has fallen by 0.13 percent to 3,869.64 points. Apart from this, the Shanghai Composite Index is seen trading at 3,342.22 points with a decline of 0.12 percent. On the other hand, GIFT Nifty is trading at 23,154 points with a strength of 0.25 percent. Similarly, the Taiwan Weighted Index has jumped 0.22 percent to reach 23,341.83 points. The Hang Seng Index has made a big jump today. Currently, this index is trading at 22,181.64 points with a gain of 323.72 points i.e. 1.48 percent. Similarly, the Nikkei Index has reached 39,457.72 points with a gain of 494.02 points i.e. 1.27 percent. Apart from this, the Kospi index jumped 1.05 percent to trade at the level of 2,575.04 points and the SET Composite index is trading at the level of 1,293.75 points with a gain of 0.76 percent.
