Cachar (Assam), 27 April (HS): The action of Cachar police against objectionable social media posts related to the Pahalgam incident is continuing. In this sequence, Komar Uddin Chowdhury (32) has been arrested on Sunday.
Komar Uddin Chowdhury is an advocate by profession and a case has been registered against him under Katigora Police Station Case No. 37/2025 under Section 196 (2)/299/302/353 (2) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) 2023 and Section 66 of the Information Technology Act. Intensive investigation of the case is going on. It is noteworthy that a total of eight people have been arrested in Assam in this case so far.
