Rajasthan education department website hacked

Jaipur, April 29 (H.S.): On Tuesday, Rajasthan’s Education Department portal suffered a cyber attack, altering its homepage to showcase inflammatory messages attributed to ‘Pakistan Cyber Force.’

One message alleged that the Pahalgam terror attack was an ‘inside job’ orchestrated by local forces and labelled it a false flag by the Indian government aimed at stirring conflict and religious discord. The hackers also made derogatory remarks about Himanshi Narwal, widow of Lieutenant Vinay Narwal. Following the breach, the website was swiftly taken down.

Education Minister Madan Dilawar condemned the attack, stating that recovery efforts were underway and cybersecurity agencies had been notified. An investigation is ongoing to identify the perpetrators, though no sensitive data leak has been confirmed as a thorough audit is being conducted for security.
