
Sirohi, March 06 (HS): Six members of a family died in a road accident in Abu Road in Sirohi district of Rajasthan today. A woman of the family was seriously injured in the accident. The accident took place near Kivarli at around three in the morning when a speeding car collided with a trolley. The collision was so severe that the car was completely damaged and went under the trolley.
According to Mount Abu CO Gomaram, the collision was so severe that a loud explosion echoed in the surrounding area. The police van patrolling on the highway immediately responded and reached the spot and started rescue work. Police said that four people died on the spot, while two others died in the hospital. After the accident, the police immediately started the rescue operation, but the bodies were trapped inside due to the car being badly crushed. With the help of a crane, the car stuck in the trolley was pulled out and the injured were taken out by breaking the doors. After about 40 minutes of hard work, the bodies were taken out and sent to the mortuary.
In the accident, Narayan Prajapat (58) son of Narsaram, resident of Kumharon Ka Vas in Jalore district, his wife Poshi Devi (55), son Dushyant (24), driver Kaluram (40) son of Prakash Chandrai, his son Yashram (4) and Jaideep son of Pukhraj Prajapat died. Jaideep’s mother Dariya Devi (35) was seriously injured and has been admitted to the hospital.
