– Release of Assamese translation of the book Madhav Dev: Personality and Works

Guwahati, 06 April (HS): Ramotsav has organized on Sunday under Guru Sanatan Sanmarg by the Guwahati Metropolitan Committee of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and VHP Fancy Bazar Block. A book was also released during this program. It is known that the translated version of the book Madhav Dev: Personality and Works written by Dr. Krishna Narayan Prasad ‘Magadh’ in Assamese language was released today.

It is noteworthy that during the Ramotsav program organized at Surajmal Juharmal Sanganeria Dharamshala in Fancy Bazar, Guwahati, Dr. Pitambardev Goswami, Satradhikar of Shri Shri Auniati Satra in Majuli, participated as the chief guest and released the book. Guwahati Metropolitan VHP unit president and retired secretary of Srimanta Shankardev Kalakshetra Sabin Rajkhowa attended the program as the keynote speaker.

In his address, Satradhikar Dr. Pitambardev Goswami threw light on the deep mysteries of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna. Along with this, the ideals of Srimanta Shankardev and Srimanta Madhav Dev and their creations were described as inspirational for human life. During this, the speakers also discussed about the Hindu population.

On this occasion, North Guwahati Metropolitan VHP President Parmesh Dutt, Fancy Bazar VHP Block President Pramod Murarka, All India History Compilation Scheme National General Secretary Hemant Dhing Majummdar, Greater Fancy Bazar Sahitya Sabha President Shyam Sundar Harlalka, Book Translator and Assam Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti, Guwahati Minister Kshirda Kumar Saikia, Fancy Bazar VHP Block Patron Pramod Kumar Chaudhary were present. The program started with lighting of lamps and bhajan-kirtan, Ganesh Vandana.
