New Delhi, 14 May (H.S.): The guard change ceremony will transition to its summer schedule — occurring between 7.30 am and 8.30 am — starting this Saturday, stated the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The ceremony is an enduring military custom held weekly to enable a new team of the President’s bodyguards to assume duties.

The ceremony for changing the guard at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan will move to summer hours, specifically between 7.30 am and 8.30 am, starting May 17, 2025, the statement released on Wednesday indicated.
