New Delhi, April 25 (HS): The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has mourned the loss of esteemed space scientist and architect of the National Education Policy, Dr. K. Kasturirangan. RSS Chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat and General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale shared a joint condolence message, stating that Dr. Kasturirangan’s passing signifies the loss of a brilliant star in India’s life.

A distinguished scientist and humanitarian, he played vital roles as a policymaker, educator, and environmentalist, contributing to both the National Education Policy and the space sector. Former head of ISRO, he received the Padma Bhushan and served in significant national positions, including the Rajya Sabha.
