
Chennai, 16 March (H.S.) : Music Maestro AR Rahman, who was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai earlier today, has been discharged after a routine check-up. According to the hospital, Rahman visited the hospital with dehydration symptoms and was released after a thorough examination.
Rahman’s team clarified that the music maestro was hospitalized due to dehydration and neck pain caused by travel, refuting reports that claimed he was admitted due to chest pain.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin also shared a health update on Rahman, stating that the music maestro is fine and will be back home soon.
Rahman, 58, is currently busy with various music projects and gigs.
He recently performed with Ed Sheeran during the Mathematics Tour concert in Chennai and is set to compose music for the upcoming film Tere Ishk Mein, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon.
