Rishra Kshatriya Jagaran Manch raises voice against  violence in Bengal

Hooghly, 13 April (H.S.)

Rishra Kshatriya Jagran Manch in Hooghly district on Sunday raised its voice against the violence happening in West Bengal against the new Waqf law. The organization’s president Satyavir Singh Chauhan condemned the violence happening against Hindus in Bengal in protest against the new Waqf law. Describing the events going on in Murshidabad as a blot on the country, he said that the way a section is creating a ruckus in the guise of opposing the Waqf Amendment Act, it has the support of Mamata government somewhere. The organization’s former president Uday Singh said, If needed, we will march to Murshidabad and put pressure on the administration to give justice to the Hindus.

However, Rishra Kshatriya Jagran Manch celebrated its silver jubilee on Sunday at Kshatriya Bhavan located in Gandhi Sadak area of Rishra. During the programme it was decided that medical camps will be held in future and eye operations of people will be done. Health check-up camps will be organized by the organization in future. The organization will keep striving to bind the society together. A cultural program was organized in which folk artists entertained people with dance and song. Organization’s president Satyaveer Singh Chauhan, former president Uday Singh, secretary Mukesh Singh, treasurer Ashok Singh, organization’s members Rupesh Singh, Sanjay Pratap Singh, Sanjay Singh, Dinesh Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Kanhaiya Singh, Manoj Singh, Santosh Singh and many other dignitaries were present in the programme. The programme was conducted by Rakesh Singh.
