IRP 21st Battalion conducted a Route March from Battalion Headquarters at Parihaspora Pattan to Zeyarat Shareef near Doon International School and back. *74 police personnel participated, covering 7 kilometers*.
2. The march was led by Sh. Farooq Ahmad, I/C Commandant of the Battalion, who emphasized the importance of such marches for familiarizing personnel with the area and improving physical fitness. He noted that regular *physical training enhances cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, and overall well-being*.
3. ⁠The Route March also aims to strengthen area dominance, deter criminal activities, and promote a secure environment. The event was well-received by personnel, who participated with great enthusiasm and gained valuable knowledge of the area’s topography.
