29 April (HS): On 06.03.2025 at about 08.00 am, Inspector Kosikalan called duty

Rekha, Lady Constable, RPF Post Kosikalan to reach Platform No. 05 in uniform

in 05 minutes and was informed that a pregnant woman travelling in train number

11842 was groaning in pain. The lady constable brought clothes etc. from her

residence and immediately reached the pregnant woman at Platform No. 05 and saw

that the said woman had already delivered. As no doctor or nurse was present on

the spot, the lady constable sent the RPF staff to get blade and cotton,

bandage etc. so that the further process of delivery could be done. Immediately

after this, the nurse was brought by the RPF staff. Lady constable Rekha and

the nurse conducted the natural delivery of the said lady passenger and the

mother and child were safely admitted to the Civil Hospital Kosikalan. Lady

constable Rekha saved the life of the woman and her child by showing her wisdom

and indomitable courage in time. For the above commendable work done by Rekha,

IG/RPF Prayagraj, Amiya Nandan Sinha felicitated her and declared her employee

of the month for the month of March-2025 of Railway Protection Force, North

Central Railway.
