
Patna, April 12 (HS): Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will visit Bihar on Saturday to review preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s event in Madhubani on April 24. He will attend a crucial strategy meeting with NDA leaders in light of the upcoming assembly elections.
Upon arrival at Patna City, Shivraj plans to visit Takht Shri Harmandir Sahib Gurudwara before heading to the state BJP office. A high-level meeting with NDA MPs, MLAs, and MLCs will commence at 11:30 am to address the logistics and significance of the PM’s visit. PM Modi is set to engage with Panchayati Raj representatives from various districts, including Madhubani and several others.
Key leaders, including Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan and JD(U) presidential executive Sanjay Jha, will participate in the preparatory discussions. Post-meeting, Shivraj will liaise with the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police in Madhubani via video conference to evaluate administrative readiness for the event, where Modi will inaugurate road infrastructure projects worth around Rs 4,000 crore. This visit marks the beginning of a campaign strategy, with Modi slated to return to Bihar monthly.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also visit Bihar on April 30 for a two-day tour to energize the party’s cadre ahead of elections.
