
New Delhi, March 8 (HS): The International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) has allotted dates from November 24 to December 7 for the first shooting league (Shooting League of India – SLI) to be held in India. With the official recognition of the ISSF, this league will get the status of a high quality competition at the global level.
National Rifle Association (NRAI) President Kalikesh Singh Deo said in a statement on Friday, We expect the world’s top shooters to participate in this league, as India has a strong profile at the international level in this sport. Work is going on at many levels to make the event a success and the allocation of dates by the ISSF motivates us further to make it a world-class event.
NRAI had already announced that Elena Norman has been appointed as the advisor of this league and New Horizons Alliance Private Limited has been included as a commercial and marketing agency.
It is expected that the sport of shooting will reach new heights by organizing this league in India.
