Mumbai, 25 Apr (HS): Referring to the Pahalgam
terrorist attack, RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat said, “hate and enmity are
not our nature, but the fight is between Dharma and Adharma. We will have to
demonstrate our strength and use it to fight against the Adharma. The time has
come to show our strength. Unity among people is necessary to stop such attacks”.
Dr Bhagwat was speaking on Thursday, during the distribution of the fourth Lata Dinanath Mangeshwar awards, at the Dinanath
Theatre in Mumbai. He quoted Rawan as a devotee of Lord Shiva, but was encircled
with ill-thoughts, which could not be sorted out through dialogue. Lord Ram had
to kill him. Similar is the situation now, when discussion with some people is
not possible. They will have to teach a lesson.
The only religion in the world is Humanity, which
today is called Hindutva. He expected a fitting reply from the Centre. Dr Bhagwat
said that discipline in a society is essential and should be followed. The
Constitution is secular, and those who penned it were secular, which is a reflection of our culture for over 5,000 years.
M Rajan was conferred with the Master Ninanath
Mangeshkar Award for his contribution to the field of music. Drama ‘Asen Mee,
Nasen Mee; bagged Mohan Wagh Award; Ambika Takalkar of Aarambh Society for
