
Chandigarh, May 20 (H.S.): Punjab Police arrested six terrorists allegedly supported by the ISI in Gurudaspur district. One, Jatin Kumar alias Rohan, was injured during the encounter. Police Director General Gaurav Yadav reported that the arrested individuals belong to Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). The group includes Jatin, Barinder Singh, Rahul Masiha, Abraham, Sohit, and Sunil Kumar.
During the arrest process, Jatin fired at the police, leading to their counteraction. He has been hospitalized in Civil Hospital Batala. This operation was reportedly directed by Maninder Billa from Portugal and Mannu Agwan, a BKI leader. The terrorists had previously attempted a grenade attack near a liquor store in Batala, and police confiscated a .30 bore pistol. A case has been filed.
