Srinagar- A 69-year-old man from Khanyar area of Srinagar has been reported missing in New Delhi, with his family seeking assistance from authorities to trace him.

The missing person has been identified as Ghulam Qadir Burki. Family members said he was last seen on December 2 at around 5 pm in Bogal Market near Kashmiri Park, Delhi, while they were out shopping. They said Burki asked them to move ahead, stating he would follow shortly, but failed to return and his mobile phone has remained switched off since then.

Relatives said a missing report was lodged at Nizamuddin Police Station, and efforts were made to search nearby areas, but no information has been received so far.

The family has appealed to the Jammu and Kashmir government to take up the matter with the Delhi authorities to facilitate a focused search. They have also requested the Delhi Police to pursue the case diligently.

Anyone having information about his whereabouts has been urged to inform the nearest police station. ~KNT
