
New Delhi, June 27(HS): The domestic stock market is experiencing fluctuations in early trading today. After a strong start propelled by buying support, profit booking caused declines in both the Sensex and Nifty indices. By 10 AM, the Sensex was down by 0.03 percent and the Nifty was down by 0.02 percent. Leading stocks such as Tata Steel, HCL Technologies, JSW Steel, and others showed gains between 1.63 percent and 0.98 percent, while stocks like Bajaj Finserv and HDFC Bank saw declines from 1.81 percent to 0.82 percent. A total of 2,370 shares were traded, with 1,805 in profit and 565 in loss. Among the Sensex’s 30 shares, 17 were in the green and 13 in the red. For the Nifty, 28 shares were up and 22 down.
The BSE’s Sensex opened with a small gain of 18.58 points at 83,774.45 points, reaching a high of 83,985.09 points early on before profit booking led to a drop. By 10 AM, it was down 22.10 points at 83,733.77 points. The NSE’s Nifty opened up 27.65 points at 25,576.65 points, hitting 25,622.50 points shortly after before declining due to profit taking. By 10 AM, it was down 5.55 points at 25,543.45 points. On the previous trading day, the Sensex closed at 83,755.87 points, and the Nifty ended at 25,549 points.
