Pune, 01 Mar (HS):- The National Women’s Commission wanted

report of the Pune’s Swargate Bust Depot Rape Case to be submitted to it within

three days. The Commission’s Chief Vijaya Rahatkar has directed Maharashtra’s

DGP Rashmi Shukla to furnish a detailed report relating to the rape which

occurred on Tuesday.

Following repercussions across the nation, Deputy

Chief Minister Ajit Pawar directed Pune’s Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar to

arrest the accused immediately. Police arrested the accused Dattray Gade and

started interrogating him. Rahatkar also directed Shukla to provide all medical

and other help to the victim. A copy of the victim’s complaint has also been

demanded by Rahatkar.
