Bengaluru, 08 May(HS): The Religious Institutions and Endowment Department has issued orders to all temples across the state to offer special pujas to celebrate the successful launch of Operation Sindhur in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Following the directions of R Ramalingareddy, the Transport, Religious Institutions and Endowment Department Minister, the Commissioner of the Religious Institutions and Endowment Department has issued a circular in this regard.

R Ramalingareddy had been appreciative of the attacks carried out on the terrorist hideouts and instructed that special prayers be held in the name of the Indian soldiers and pray for the strength and well-being of the Indian Army.

It may be recalled here that there are about 34, 564 temples under the Endowment Department and all of them have been instructed to offer special pujas in the name of the soldiers and well-being of the Indian Army.
