24 April (H.S.): The terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, is an

affront to civilized society. Our security agencies are on high alert. Certainly,

the federal government would take such steps as to make an example for Pakistan

and terrorists alike. BJP state president Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh said this

while speaking to journalists before leaving for Lucknow on Thursday morning.

He expressed grief over the terrorist incident in Pahalgam and said that for

the first time, terrorists targeted people based on their religion. Our

thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the victims. The government is

identifying all of the organizations and institutions that are responsible for

the event. The government will prosecute everyone of the terrorists responsible

for this event one by one.
