Guwahati, 23 April (HS): Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organized protest programs in various parts of Assam against the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. The council strongly condemned the attack on innocent citizens visiting Kashmir by terrorists sponsored by Pakistan and nurtured in the name of religion.

A protest was organized by ABVP in front of Guwahati Commerce College in Guwahati metropolis and tribute was paid to those killed in the attack in the Guwahati College campus. Similarly, tribute meetings were also organized by the council in Rabindranath Tagore University, Bongaigaon University, Lumding College and Hailakandi district.

ABVP demanded from the central and state government that the most stringent steps should be taken against terrorism and anti-national forces for the security of the country.
