
London, March 13 (H.S.): Afghanistan’s left-arm wrist spinner Noor Ahmad and New Zealand’s T20 captain Michael Bracewell received significant contracts worth £200,000 in The Hundred Draft. Ahmad was chosen by Manchester Originals, while Bracewell was included in Southern Brave, who were the runners-up in the previous season.
Major Player Auctions
Georgia voll, Jamie Overton, and David Warner were also part of the major signings. Wull, who scored an unbeaten 99 runs in the Women’s Premier League, was picked by Birmingham Phoenix. London Spirit bought Jamie Overton in a £200,000 deal, while experienced Australian opener David Warner was signed for £120,000. Warner will play in The Hundred for the first time.

– New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra (£120,000 – Manchester Originals)
– In the women’s tournament, Paige Scholfield was retained by Oval Invincibles for £65,000.
However, England’s veteran fast bowler James Anderson went unsold, despite making himself available for the tournament.
Tournament and Upcoming Draft
This time, a total of 66 players were drafted in both the men’s and women’s categories, nearly completing most teams. However, teams will have the opportunity to strengthen their squads further through a wildcard draft.
The Hundred will kick off on August 5, with the first match to be played between London Spirit and Oval Invincibles at Lord’s.
