
Kathmandu, September 15 (HS): Three newly appointed ministers in the interim government of Prime Minister Sushila Karki took oath of office and secrecy on Monday at a special ceremony held at Sheetal Niwas. The oath was administered by President Ram Chandra Paudel.
On Sunday evening, interim Prime Minister Karki had announced the appointment of the three ministers. On Monday, President Paudel formally swore in Kulman Ghising as Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation; Om Prakash Aryal as Minister for Home and Law; and Rameshore Khanal as Minister for Finance.
Prior to his ministerial role, Ghising served as the Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority. Aryal is a former legal advisor to Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah, while Khanal previously held the post of Finance Secretary.
