New Delhi, July 25(HS): Indian middle-order batter Tilak Varma scored 112 for Hampshire against Nottinghamshire in the County Championship, contributing significantly to his team’s chase of Nottinghamshire’s 578/8d. Varma’s innings included 13 fours and two sixes.

Additionally, left-arm spinner Sai Kishore from Surrey took his second wicket, while left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed claimed a wicket for Essex. Conversely, Yuzvendra Chahal struggled again for Northamptonshire with a golden duck after a wicketless first innings.
