Traders demand 24×7 power supply in Lucknow, hand over memo from Rajnath Singh

Traders have demanded from the country's Defense Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh to ensure uninterrupted power supply

20 April (HS): Traders have demanded from the country’s Defense Minister and

Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh to ensure uninterrupted power supply. Business leaders

Ashok Motiani, Anil Bajaj, Prabhu Jalan, Amit Talwar, Shyam Krishnani,

Puneetlal Chandani, Sushil Gurnani etc. informed their MP about the frequent

power cuts in Lucknow. On this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh talked to the officials

of the Electricity Department and assured to solve the problem.

Shyam Krishnani, Puneetlal Chandani, Sushil Gurnani said that the traders met

their popular MP and the country’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and submitted

a memorandum of their problems. In this, the MP has been mainly asked to stop

the frequent power cuts. On this, we have been assured by Defense Minister

Rajnath Singh regarding the problem of power cuts.

The

traders also discussed with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to direct the Fire

Service Department and Municipal Corporation for providing fire fighting

vehicles and clean drinking water in the main markets of the city. Once again,

trader leader Ashok Motiani raised the issue of formation of a trader welfare

board, in which Ashok Motiani said that the Trader Welfare Board is dissolved

in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh government should take a quick decision on

this.
