– Two people including a student drowned

Barpeta (Assam), 15 March (HS): On the occasion of Holi, a tragic accident took place in the Cattle Farm area of Barpeta Road in Assam. Two people including a student who went to take bath in the Beki river killed due to drowning.

According to the information received, after playing Holi, a 9th class student Kaushik Das and 25-year-old youth Mridul Rajvanshi went to take a bath in the river. During this, both went into deep water and drowned.

On getting information about the incident, Barpeta Road police reached the spot and both were taken to Barpeta Medical College in critical condition, where doctors declared them dead. This accident has caused a wave of mourning in the area.————–
