Churachandpur (Manipur), 30 April (HS) Manipur Police has arrested two people with 331 packets of brown sugar from Valveng area of Churachandpur district.

Police spokesperson said on Wednesday that the arrested persons include Chinkhanlun (29) of Vengnuam, Churachandpur and Wungtansang Munluo (36) of Suangdo, Singangat sub-division.

Police have recovered suspected brown sugar kept in 331 soap boxes, two mobile phones and a four-wheeler pickup vehicle from them. A case has been registered at Churachandpur police station and further investigation is underway.
