Union Sports Minister and Shivani Pawar will participate in the 'Fit India Sunday on Cycle' event

New Delhi/Mumbai, February 16 (HS): To promote healthy lifestyle and fitness, ‘Fit India Sunday on Cycle’ campaign will be organized across the country today on Sunday. In this initiative, Union Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya will ride with cyclists in Mumbai.

In Mumbai, this cycle rally will be organized from Gateway of India to Girgaon Chowpatty under the theme ‘Fight Obesity’, in which fitness experts, administrative officers and social workers will also participate.

At the same time, this campaign will start from 8 am in the national capital Delhi, in which Shivani Pawar, bronze medalist in the 2024 Senior Asian Wrestling Championship and gold medalist of 2025 National Games, will also participate. In Delhi, this cycle journey will start from Major Dhyanchand Stadium and end there.

Apart from this, wellness coaches from Decathlon, Cult.Fit, Sports Authority of India (SAI) and Yogasana Bharat will also be a part of the event. The campaign will be conducted in collaboration with SAI regional centers, National Centers of Excellence and Khelo India centers across the country.

This initiative promoting fitness and awareness has brought a great opportunity to inspire common citizens to adopt an active lifestyle.
