UP CM Adityanath Lays Foundation Stone of Microsoft Campus in Noida

New Delhi, March 08 (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath laid the foundation stone for Microsoft’s India Development Center (IDC) in Noida on Saturday, signaling enhanced collaboration between Microsoft and the state government in technology and economic growth. Spanning 15 acres with an 11 lakh square feet built-up area, the IDC campus aims to become a hub for advancements in AI, cloud, and security, further strengthening Microsoft’s presence in India.

Microsoft intends to bolster India’s AI capabilities and support digital innovation and engineering talent through this facility. Rajeev Kumar, Managing Director of Microsoft IDC, emphasized the significance of the new campus in promoting AI technology that benefits diverse communities and businesses. He expressed gratitude for the support from the Uttar Pradesh government and Noida Authority, stating that the initiative will attract talent globally and positively impact millions.

Notably, Microsoft IDC is the company’s largest R&D center after its headquarters in Redmond and has established a robust presence in Hyderabad and Bangalore as well.
