
Kolkata, 28 February (H.S.) – Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Friday offered prayers at the renowned Tarapith Temple in Birbhum district, West Bengal. His wife, Sudesh Dhankhar, accompanied him during the visit.
Expressing his emotions on social media platform X, the Vice President wrote, Felt truly blessed to have the divine darshan of Maa Tara at the sacred Tarapith Temple in Birbhum today. It was a privilege to pray for India’s progress, the well-being of its citizens, and global prosperity.
He further added, With Maa Tara’s grace, I experienced immense spiritual energy and devotion at this revered Shakti Peeth. This sacred place connects us with our cultural roots and reminds us of our faith and duties. Jai Maa Tara!
Dhankhar described the experience as deeply peaceful and energizing, stating, Visiting this holy site has filled me with a profound sense of serenity and strength, which I will channel for the welfare of humanity.
Before his visit to Tarapith, the Vice President also attended an event at Gaudiya Math in Kolkata, where he addressed the gathered devotees. During his speech, he emphasized that India’s soul is deeply embedded in Sanatan Dharma.
