Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday inaugurated the newly revamped Amira Kadal in Srinagar, redeveloped under the Srinagar Smart City Project.

The historic bridge has been transformed into a pedestrian-friendly public space, enhancing connectivity between Lal Chowk and adjoining markets while adding heritage aesthetics, smart lighting, seating areas, and improved pathways along the Jhelum riverfront.
