Women and Child Development - best performer among 48 Govt Departments

01 May (HS): The Department of Women and Child Development has stood at the top

in the 100 day mission of improving office work in administration, discipline, and expediting people’s work. The mission was started by the Chief Minister

Devendra Fadnavis, as the first phase of the evaluation of the work of various government

departments.

The

evaluation of work was done by the Quality Council of India based on ten

parameters, including website capacity, facilities at the office, grievance

redressal, facilitating investment, public service facilities, use of

technology, etc.

Fadnavis

said the mission is not limited to improving administration, but also for a sense of

responsibility, transparency, and improving image of the government in the

democratic system. The officers of the departments who have excelled has placed

examples for others to follow.

In

all, 48 departments were under evaluation. All the departments have achieved 78

percent of the targeted programmes (706 out of 902). The departments will

continue to work on the remaining objectives of the government. Out of the 48

departments, 12 achieved 100 percent target, 18 have completed 80 percent of

the government objectives. The details are available on the official website

The

top Zilla Parishad CEOs and their achievements are – Thane (92%), Nagpur

(75.83%), Nashik (74.73%), Pune (74.67%), Washim (72%)..

Municipal

Commissioners – Ulhasnagar (65.21%), Pimpri-Chinchwad (65.13%), Panvel

(64.73%), Navi Mumbai (64.57%).

Police

Commissioners – Meer Bhaindar (68.49%), Thane (65.49%), Mumbai Railway

(63.45%).

Divisional

Commissioners – Konkan (75.43%), Nashik (62.21%), Nagpur (62.19%).

Inspector

General of Police/DyIGP Regions – Konkan (78.68%), Nanded (69.87%).

Best

Departments – Women and Child Development (80%), Social Justice (77.94%),

Agriculture (66.54%), Rural Development (63.58%), Transport and Ports (62.26%).

Commissioner/

Director – Director Technical Education (77.13%), Commissioner Prohibition of Gathering

( 72.66%), Tribal Development (72.49%), Rural Life Improvement Mission

(70.28%), Medical Education (68.53%).

District

Collectors – Chandrapur (68.29%), Kolhapur (62.45%), Jalgaon (60.65%), Akola

(60.58%), Nanded (56.66%).

Police

Superintendents – Palghar (70.21%), Jalgaon (60%), Nagpur Rural (60%), Gondia

(56.49%), Solapur Rural (56%).

Fadnavis

congratulated all the departments and officers for their achievements and good

work. He wished them for work in the future.
