World leaders dial PM Modi; condemn Pahalgam Attack & expresses solidarity with India

New Delhi, April 24 (H.S.): After the brutal terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, the international community has shown a united front against terrorism. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni spoke with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the phone, reaffirming their commitment to standing firmly with India against terrorism. The King of Jordan and the Prime Minister of Japan also expressed their condolences for the deaths resulting from the attack during their phone calls.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed solidarity with the people of India and the victim’s families. He strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Indian soil. French President Emmanuel Macron denounced the attack and expressed full support and solidarity with the Indians. He stated that such brutality is completely unacceptable. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni condemned the attack in strong terms and expressed her country’s full support in the fight against terrorism.

Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba conveyed his condolences over the deaths in the recent terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir during his call with Prime Minister Modi. He stated that terrorism cannot be justified under any circumstances. Both leaders described terrorism as a grave threat to humanity and emphasized that all countries that believe in democracy must unite to fight against it.

Jordan’s King Abdullah Ibn Al-Hussein expressed deep sympathy for the loss of innocent lives. He agreed that every form of terror must be condemned and cannot be justified in any way.

Meanwhile, during conversations with these leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared information about the background of the attack, its ‘cross-border nature,’ and the role of terrorist organizations. He explained how this attack was aimed at targeting innocent civilians and indicated the involvement of foreign elements. The Prime Minister sent a clear message on behalf of India that there will be a strong response to such cowardly acts, and every necessary step will be taken to bring the perpetrators to justice.
