6th International Saiva Siddhanta Conference Concludes at SRMIST

Chennai, 6 May (H.S.): The 6th International Saiva Siddhanta Conference recently concluded at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) in Kattankulathur, Chennai. The three-day event brought together scholars, spiritual leaders, and delegates from 14 countries to discuss and share insights on Saiva Siddhanta philosophy.

The conference featured over 300 research articles presented in 12 sessions, showcasing the depth and richness of Saiva Siddhanta. The event was jointly organized by Dharmapuram Adheenam and the Tamil Perayam of SRMIST.

The conference emphasized the importance of preserving Tamil cultural heritage and promoting spiritual growth through the teachings of Saiva Siddhanta. Delegates discussed various aspects of Saiva philosophy, including its relevance in modern times.

As part of the conference, 300 scholarly publications were released, highlighting the significance of Saiva Siddhanta in contemporary society. The publications are expected to contribute to the ongoing discourse on Saiva philosophy and its applications.

The conference was attended by several distinguished guests, including Thiru. Marai. Vetrivel, Dharmapuram Adheenam; His Holiness Sri-La-Sri Kayilai Masilamani Desika Gnanasambanda Paramacharya Swamigal; Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan, Governor of Maharashtra; and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda.

The conference concluded with a call to action for delegates to promote Saiva Siddhanta philosophy and its values in their respective communities. The event provided a platform for scholars and spiritual leaders to engage with each other and explore ways to preserve and promote Tamil cultural heritage.
