Trump Denies U.S. Approval for Ukrainian Long-Range Missile Strikes Inside Russia

Washington, 23 October (H.S.): On Wednesday, President Donald Trump categorically refuted a news report claiming his administration had authorized Ukraine to use long-range missiles for striking targets deep within Russian territory.

In a statement posted on his Truth Social platform, President Trump labeled the story from The Wall Street Journal as false. He asserted, The US has nothing to do with those missiles, wherever they may come from, or what Ukraine does with them!

The report, which cited unidentified U.S. officials, had maintained that the Trump administration had lifted a significant restriction on the use of certain long-range missiles supplied to Ukraine by its Western allies.

President Trump’s direct denial aims to distance the United States from Ukraine’s specific military operations and clarify that Washington is not involved in how Ukraine deploys weapons it receives from various international partners.
