Passengers were advised to contact their respective airlines for the most current information regarding their travel plans. Several incoming flights were rerouted to other airports in the UK.An airport spokesperson confirmed that staff were working diligently to resolve the disruption as swiftly as possible, emphasizing that the safety and comfort of passengers remained their highest priority.

Airport personnel were present in the terminal to assist travelers with their inquiries.The airport, which has operated 24 hours a day since 1994, typically has a designated night-time flight window between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. for quieter aircraft.
