J&K Police felicitates deaf Cricket team and Para Judo medallists for bringing glory to the UT





Jammu, Dec 11: The Jammu and Kashmir Police today organised a special felicitation ceremony at the Officers’ Mess, Jammu, to honour the J&K Deaf Cricket Team and Para Judo medallists for their remarkable achievements.

Director General of Police, J&K,Nalin Prabhat led the ceremony, joined by senior officers, athletes, and coaches to celebrate the sportspersons who have brought pride to the Union Territory.

Addressing the gathering, ADG HQ Sh. M.K. Sinha lauded the athletes for their grit, teamwork and exceptional performances. He highlighted the rising prominence of deaf and para sports in J&K and appreciated the dedication of the players, coaches and support staff.

The athletes were presented with mementos in recognition of their achievements. The DGP also interacted individually with the sportspersons, congratulating them and extending his best wishes for future successes.

The event was attended by several senior officers, including SJM Gillani, Spl DG Coordination; Garib Dass, Director SKPA; Alok Kumar, DG Fire & Emergency Services; and Anand Jain, ADG Armed Police.(KINS)
