Jammu, Jan 13 (KINS): Uchit Singhal, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of the Jammu Division, Northern Railway, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha here today.

During the meeting, the Lieutenant Governor congratulated Singhal on being conferred with the Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar–2025, a prestigious award recognising his exceptional leadership and meticulous planning in managing train operations during Operation Sindoor and in the aftermath of the recent floods.

Singhal briefed the Lieutenant Governor about the key achievements of the newly established Jammu Railway Division during the 2025 calendar year. He also apprised him of the upcoming railway projects planned for 2026, with a focus on infrastructure development, non-fare revenue generation, business expansion, and initiatives aimed at enhancing passenger convenience.

The Lieutenant Governor appreciated the efforts being made to strengthen railway services and improve passenger facilities in the region.(KINS)
