Srinagar, Sep 27 (KINS): Water supply to several affected areas of Srinagar city and adjoining areas has been restored, Executive Engineer, Water Works Division Srinagar, Er. Ajaz Rafiq, told News Agency KINS.
“Yes, we have restored the water supply. If some areas have not received water yet, I am sure they will get it within one hour,” Er. Ajaz Rafiq said.
The disruption had occurred following a sudden reduction in the discharge of the SP Canal by the PDC authorities, affecting water supply to several areas of Srinagar and its adjoining localities.
The Water Works Division said restoration efforts were undertaken promptly to ensure normal water supply to consumers.(KINS)
