Chennai, 6 May (H.S.) : A gruesome murder has shaken the district of Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu. A BJP leader, who was accused of allegedly hurling footwear at a state minister, was found beheaded. The victim has been identified as Sasikala, a prominent figure in the BJP’s women’s wing in the region. According to reports, Sasikala’s body was discovered in a paddy field near her home in the Thiruvaiyaru taluk of Thanjavur district and two accused including her stepson surrendered before police on Tuesday.
