Saharanpur, 10 May (HS): On Saturday, the body of an

eight-year-old girl was found soaked in blood in the Sadar Bazaar police

station area. Looking at the condition of the body, it appears that the girl

was raped and then murdered. The police have sent the body for postmortem and

started investigating the case.

SP City Vyom Bindal said that the body of the girl was found

behind the house on Saturday morning. The girl’s throat was strangled. Foam was

coming out of her mouth and blood was also flowing from her private part. The

girl was missing from her house since 7 pm on Friday evening. The next day the

girl’s body was found behind the house of a neighbour. The police sent the body

for postmortem and took a youth into custody. The arrested young man was

searching for the girl with his family. So that no one suspects him. The police

also suspect in the initial investigation that this person threw the girl down

from the roof of the house. People suspect that this person killed the girl

after brutalizing her. That person lives alone in his house. SP City said that

one of the accused has been taken into custody. Interrogation is going on. He

had searched for the girl with the police all night. In the morning, the body

of the girl was found behind the house of the same person. Action will be taken

after investigating the matter.
