Pune, 03 May (HS): The Maharashtra Government has

extended the last date for submission of caste verification certificates for students

belonging to social and economically weaker sections by three months. The

extension of the date is a big relief to the students seeking admission to various

professional courses during the 2024-2025 academic session.

The Department of General Administration has

published a notification to this effect. The extension has been granted following

demand from the students and their parents. This is the third extension of last

date by the government.
