CCS meeting underway at PM's residence following Pahalgam attack

New Delhi, April 23 (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened a Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) meeting at Lok Kalyan Marg on Wednesday in response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack, which claimed 28 lives.

The meeting was attended by key officials Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister P.K. Mishra, and other officials

The CCS is the top authority for decisions related to national security and foreign policy in India.

PM Modi returned to India cut shorts his official trip to Saudi Arabia this morning to address the incident and gather updates from senior officials.
