New Delhi, May 1 (H.S.): Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stated that Delhi’s triple engine government will run a cleaning campaign at every level and war footing for the next twenty days. This will bring about a significant change in Delhi.
While addressing a press conference at the Secretariat on Thursday, the Chief Minister mentioned that it was the first meeting with officials from all departments of the triple engine government. The meeting included all district magistrates, deputy police commissioners, and senior officers from the Delhi government and corporations. She emphasized that departments should stop blaming each other and focus on their respective work. Officials were instructed to leave their air-conditioned rooms and tour the field to report back.
The Chief Minister has imposed a ban on single-use plastic in markets, schools, and religious places, with strict action against violators. Development projects are underway in all 70 assembly constituencies and 250 municipal wards of Delhi. She emphasized that strict measures will be taken against wall defacement caused by posters or writing.
The triple engine government is committed to making Delhi clean, with cleaning scheduled twice daily in each area and supervised by senior officials. Residents will soon notice significant changes from their votes.
