Bhubaneswar, 5 May (H.S.)– The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has restructured its Minority Cell, appointing former Rajya Sabha MP and former hockey star Dilip Tirkey as the Convenor of the wing. The announcement was made through an official press release issued by the party.

As per the release, Rizwana Begum has been appointed as the Co-Convenor of the Minority Cell. In addition, Rajya Sabha MP Mujibulla Khan has been named Co-Convenor for the Southern Region, Ayub Khan for the Western Region, and Sheikh Nizamuddin for the Central Region.
