Gold and Silver Surge to New Highs in Domestic Bullion Market

New Delhi, October 7(HS): The domestic bullion market witnessed another day of strong momentum on Tuesday as both gold and silver prices continued their upward climb, hitting fresh record highs.In today’s trade, gold prices rose sharply by ₹1,270 to ₹1,390 per 10 grams, while silver surged up to ₹1,200 per kilogram.

The rally drove 24-carat gold prices across the country to between ₹1,20,780 and ₹1,20,930 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was quoted between ₹1,10,710 and ₹1,10,860 per 10 grams. Silver was trading firm at ₹1,56,100 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In the national capital, 24-carat gold traded at ₹1,20,930 per 10 grams, with 22-carat gold priced at ₹1,10,860 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,20,780 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,10,710 per 10 grams. Ahmedabad recorded 24-carat gold at ₹1,20,830 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,10,760 per 10 grams.

Among other major cities, Chennai saw 24-carat gold priced at ₹1,20,780 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,10,710 per 10 grams, while Kolkata recorded similar levels with 24-carat gold at ₹1,20,780 and 22-carat at ₹1,10,710 per 10 grams.In Lucknow, gold prices reached the top range of the day, with 24-carat gold selling at ₹1,20,930 and 22-carat at ₹1,10,860 per 10 grams.

In Patna, 24-carat gold was retailing at ₹1,20,830 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,10,760 per 10 grams. Jaipur too mirrored the trend, with 24-carat gold at ₹1,20,930 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,10,860 per 10 grams.

Bullion traders across southern and eastern states also reported gains. In Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar, 24-carat gold traded at ₹1,20,780 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at ₹1,10,710 per 10 grams.

According to market analysts, the sharp rise in precious metal prices is being driven by sustained global demand, safe-haven buying, and continued volatility in international economic indicators, pushing gold and silver to new peaks in the Indian market.
