Jammu- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday said the India that stands tall as a developed nation by 2047 will not only be driven by economic aspirations but will also be spiritually enriched, culturally self assured and fully awakened to its true identity.
The Lieutenant Governor was addressing a public function at the sacred and historic site of Bankatashiv in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, where he joined devotees for the Mahayagya and Prana Pratishtha ceremony at Shri Lakshminarayan Temple.
Offering what he described as a threefold resolution for the future, Sinha said, “We must transform India into the preeminent nation of the world, forge it into the most formidable global power, and establish it as the ultimate sanctuary of knowledge and intellectual wealth on Earth.”
He emphasised that every citizen must honour the nation’s glorious heritage with full responsibility. The devotion that preserved the country’s culture through adversity, he said, must now inspire the younger generation to convert the wisdom of the past into the strength of the present and light the way forward.
Describing the ceremony as a symbol of civilizational revival, the Lieutenant Governor said such sacred occasions revitalize timeless values and share them across society. He said Shri Lakshminarayan Temple would inspire the youth to remain firmly rooted in their heritage while embracing the sweeping transformations taking place across various spheres of development.
Referring to the leadership of Narendra Modi, Sinha said India is not merely scripting a story of economic growth but is also witnessing a broader civilizational awakening. He added that the world now acknowledges India’s firm emergence as a global power built on inclusive growth, technological advancement and world class infrastructure.
“We have reached an era where fresh energy surges in every direction of progress, while a remarkable renaissance of spiritual and cultural consciousness takes shape,” he said.Projecting India’s trajectory towards 2047, the Lieutenant Governor reiterated that the vision of a developed nation must integrate economic strength with spiritual depth and cultural confidence.
