
Lucknow, 26 April (HS): Following
the Pahalgam terror assault, India has told Pakistani nationals in Uttar Pradesh
to return home by April 27. The authorities are ensuring that individuals on
short-term visas leave and those on long-term visas are monitored. Some have
sought Indian nationality. Following the

to return home by April 27. The Uttar Pradesh government is concentrating on
easing the exit of people with short-term visas while simultaneously keeping a
careful eye on long-term visa holders. Police Commissioner Tarun Gaba stated
that four Pakistani nationals were in Prayagraj on short-term visas.
One lady departed on
Friday, and three more are set to go on Saturday. The individuals apparently arrived for brief
periods, including medical reasons, and local intelligence elements were
actively watching the situation. In
Muzaffarnagar, officials reported four Pakistani nationals on short-term visas,
two of them, including a lady, left on Thursday and the other two leaving on
Friday. Meanwhile, 26 Pakistanis are on
long-term visas, with several pursuing Indian citizenship. Officials are checking their addresses while awaiting
government orders.
